Limo Rental Checklist

If you are planning on renting a limousine, then there must be some important event in your life. Whether you are going to prom, getting married, throwing a bachelor party, or planning a special night out, the limo rental should be given just as much time and attention as every other part of the event planning. There are several areas and steps to consider before making the rental purchase.

1. What is the limo rental for? If you are renting for a prom or night out, then you will probably want to stick with the basic and classic sleek stretch limousine for the classy ride it offers. If you are planning a killer bachelor party, something offbeat like a stretch Humvee might fit the bill. If you and your significant other want to ride away from your wedding in style, you may even want to look into a classic limo for a romantic and traditional style. No matter what the event, giving the limousine company all the details will help them match you with the right vehicle and driver for a perfect experience.

2. How many people will be going along? You want to make sure there is plenty of room for everyone. So, if several couples are getting together for a formal dance, consider renting a limo that will actually accommodate one or two more people than will actual be in your party so that everyone will have plenty of room.

3. What extras and amenities are you interested in? There are many extras available for your limo rental, like custom music of your choosing, champagne or wine available, moon roofs and sun roofs, telephones, televisions and more. Make sure to consider any extras you would be interested in and go over the options with the limo company.

4. How much are you willing to pay? Although you want to make sure you receive excellent service, the cost of rental can vary widely depending on different companies. It is important to already know your spending limit before you begin rental shopping. The cost will be effected by the number of hours needed, the size of the limo and the amenities included.

5. Is the limo company safe? When you will be putting your life and safety in the hands of a driver you do not know, you want to make sure that you look into the legitimacy of the limo rental company. When reserving a limo, ask to see insurance, licenses and other documents. A trustworthy company will be able to show these documents promptly.

  1. Some LA limousine services only have stretch limos while others have larger sized vehicles that can fit a lot more people.
